Dear Families,
Jaida’s Challenge is launching a Covid 19 financial relief program to help those families most in need at this difficult time. If your child meets all of the criteria below, please go to the application and instructions for submission. There are no financial criteria. The criteria are as follows:
- Children who have a physical disability.
- Children involved in physiotherapy/and or occupational therapy funded through Children’s Treatment Network. **See Below
- Children who utilize adaptive equipment.
- Children in our catchment area: New Tecumseth, Adjala-Tosorontio, Borden/Angus, Essa, and Cookstown.
** If you are not sure if you meet these criteria, please contact your OT/PT if your child is in preschool, or if your child is school aged please contact Kim Hesketh, CTN Rehabilitation Manager at khesketh@ctnsy.ca. You will require a letter to accompany your application. For preschool children please contact your OT or PT. For school aged children please contact Kim Hesketh, CTN Rehabilitation Manager, at khesketh@ctnsy.ca. The letter will simply identify your child and confirm they meet the criteria . The application will be available for two weeks, and will close at midnight on Monday July 20th, 2020.Applications will be processed on a first come first served basis, until the designated funds are exhausted. We are grateful to be in a position to help families bridge some of the financial gaps brought on by this pandemic.
